Special thanks to the Washtenaw County Farm Bureau for featuring my children's book at the 4-H Fair this week! I've been looking forward to this all summer. Wanna check it out? Local Author Fair at Chelsea Sounds and Sights

I had the privilege of being accepted into the local author fair at the Chelsea District Library as part of the town's Sounds & Sights event. Unfortunately, Sounds & Sights had a poor turnout this week due to the heat and rain which moved most of the activities indoors. New Books in Progress!

Here's a photo of my home for the next several months, until spring beckons me into the garden. I'm working on three new children's books in this cozy, chaotic closet-turned-art-studio, one with each of my children. My first book took more than six years to write and illustrate, so these may take a while, but it's been so much fun collaborating with my kids.
