Bawk Bawk in the Backyard |  Available Now on Amazon  | This project was a labor of love. I created the watercolor paintings over the course of several years, inspired by my family's experience raising backyard chickens in the city. Then, I embarked upon a three-year journey to publish the story!  I looked for a children's book like this when we first got chickens, as I wanted to show my kids what to expect and how to properly care for our new feathered friends. I couldn't quite find what I had in mind, and so I decided to create it myself!  Many years later and Bawk Bawk in the Backyard is officially available for purchase online. It is an entertaining and informative story, followed by bonus content: helpful reminders for kids, tips for raising backyard hens, plus real-life photo inspiration.
